When I think back to my elementary school I'm reminded of bright alphabet rugs,
desks filled with pencil boxes and markers, a combination of black boards and white boards,
and old school computers.
I thought this was a standard description of a classroom. But around the world, especially in the poorest parts, the definition of the "classroom" is extremely varied.
Lack of resources like desks, teachers, books, electricity and even the classroom itself can make it a challenge for students to get a quality education - but schools do what they can to give children an inspiring, energetic place to learn. Despite the obstacles, these resilient students have a passionate desire to get their education.
