...τα καλύτερα video clips του 21ου αιώνα σύμφωνα με το Billboard

Στην αυγή του 21ου αιώνα, τα video clips ήταν σε μια περίοδο ανάπτυξης: 
Το TRL ήταν στο ζενίθ, τα CDs επίσης, οι προϋπολογισμοί για μουσικά βίντεο ήταν 
και παραμένουν υψηλά και το MTV ήταν το μέρος όπου έβλεπες τα πιο hot video clip 
της εποχής.
Σήμερα, εν έτει 2018 κανένα από αυτά δεν ισχύει πια.
Οι πωλήσεις άλμπουμ έχουν μειωθεί λόγω των mp3s και των streaming υπηρεσιών 
ενώ το MTV έχει αντικατασταθεί από το Youtube. Παρά τις αλλαγές, τα video clip εξακολουθούν να βασιλεύουν στην ποπ σκηνή ως συνεχιστής μιας κληρονομιάς των προηγούμενων δεκαετιών.
Το μουσικό περιοδικό Billoboard, πριν από μερικές μέρες ξεκίνησε ένα αφιέρωμα 
στην εξέλιξη των video clips με μια λίστα των 100 καλύτερων του 21ου αιώνα.
