Seals swap the sea for a swim in the Thames

Harbour seals

The days of having to take boat trips out to sea
to watch dolphins and seals in the wild are over.

It seems the mammals have traded in tropical waters
for Teddington Lock — reaping the benefits of the Thames,
now cleaner than ever.
A growing number of dolphins have been spotted in the
west London area, while pods of seals have been swimming
outside Hampton Court Palace, according to the Thames marine mammals sightings survey by the Zoological Society of London (ZSL).thetimes.co.uk
