Μιλώντας στην εφημερίδα The Guardian από την Karnataka της Ινδίας, ο Andanappa Yalagi δήλωσε: «Αποκαταστάθηκε η δικαιοσύνη για την Σαβίτα και αυτό που συνέβη σε αυτήν δεν θα συμβεί σε άλλη οικογένεια πλέον».
